Please download Versant Object Database from http://www.versant.com. You will receive a trial license key via e-mail that you will need when you have finished the setup process.
Versant provides a setup wizard for their object database system. We are not going to explain every single step as you can simply click through the screen flow without changing the default entries.
Restart the computer when you have finished the setup process and copy the license.xml file (received via e-mail) to the installation directory – as shown in the next screenshot.
