OOMEGA’s distribution is made up of two different parts:
- OOMEGA Development Kit (ODK) is based on the Eclipse Platform. Therefore the setup procedure is basically downloading and installing the ODK from our Eclipse Update Site.
- OOMEGA Server is a separated software bundle which contains all the stuff you need to setup an OOMEGA database server based on Versant’s ODBMS or Hibernate. The server is especially of great value when you plan to collaboratively develop metamodels and models on top of a central database.
