If you double-click on an entry in the model navigator the editor view opens in the main area of Eclipse. There may be different concrete syntaxes for one and the same entity defined; hence the editor view normally consists of many tabs. Each tab represents one concrete representation of an entity.
- Graphical Editors can be programmed with the Graphical Editor Framework (GEF) as described in chapter Develop and plug-in a Graphical Model Editor.
- Textual Editors are automatically provided by OOMEGA accordant to textual syntax specifications. The chapter Textual Syntax Specification describe the process of defining one or more textual syntaxes for a metamodel.
