If you have chosen to run OOMEGA Server on top of Versant Object Database then you can start the server immediately without further configuration. This can be done by choosing the program menu entry "OOMEGA Server" as indicated below.
Alternatively you can start the batch file <oomega-home>/bin/oomega-server.bat or the Ant target start.oomega-server in <oomega-home>/bin/build.xml.
If you’ve chosen MySQL then you need to change the configuration slightly. Please open the file <oomega-home>/server.properties and change the value of EOC_TYPE from VERSANTEOC to HIBERNATEEOC.
That’s it. Then start OOMEGA Server as explained before.
